I have already tried almost EVERYTHING. Just name it, shaving? Waxing? Epilating? Plucking? Threading? Laser? Everything. So this entry I will rate and share the best hair removal method based on my own experience.  


  1. Shave
    Rating: 4/10.
    Pro: Budget-friendly, easy to access, fast, painless 
    Cons: Darker skin, sharp hair growth, may cause ingrown hair and "strawberry skin"
    p/s: fun fact shaving will not cause thicker hair growth so don't worry and a man's razor is the best. 


  2. Wax
    Rating: 6/10
    Pro: Smooth hair growth, remove hair from root
    Cons: May cause irritation for sensitive skin, painful, messy, a bit pricey
    p/s: My all-time fav method to remove hair on upper lips.


  3. Epilate
    Rating: 1000000/10
    Pro: Smooth hair growth, reduce hair growth, fast, remove hair from the root.
    Cons: Painful for the first-timer
    p/s: This is my fav method to remove hair on the underarm, legs, bikini line, and hand. 


  4. Pluck
    Rating: 6/10
    Pro: Smooth hair growth, reduce hair growth, remove hair from the root. 
    Cons: Very time-consuming 


  5. Threading
    Rating: 4/10
    Pro: Smooth hair growth, remove hair from the root.
    Cons: Time-consuming, very painful


  6. Laser
    Rating: 10/10
    Pro: Fastest ways to reduce hair growth, permanent result, fast, painless
    Cons: very pricey, need to go several sessions, and after 3-5 years need to repeat the whole thing. 
    p/s: My fav method to remove hair everywhere (if I'm rich. Lol).


  7. Trimmer
    Rating: 8/10
    Pro: Painless, fast, will not irritate your skin
    Cons: Will did not cut your hair fully. 
    p/s: My fav method to remove hair on the private area




Protein bars are really not budget-friendly for me. I have plenty amount of protein powder in my house cuz I am diagnosed with lactose intolerance just after I bought the protein powder. So, I decided to DIY my protein bars as I can control the calorie and nutrients. Here I shared my favorite protein bars recipe.

INGREDIENT:

  • 1/2 cup Protein powder
  • 1/2 cup Rolled organic oat
  • 4 tbsp Cranberry/ dried fruit
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate chip
  • 1/4 cup Almond chunk
  • 1/4 cup Almond milk (137-degree brand) / low-fat milk
  • Melted chocolate

INSTRUCTION:

  • Mix all the dry ingredients until well combined. 
  • Pour in the almond milk
  • Mix until all combine and become clumpy.
  • Fold and press gently into a container already lined with baking paper
  • Pour in the melted chocolate
  • Put in the freezer about 5 minutes
  • Cut into your preferred size and enjoy your homemade protein bars.
What should I consume to lose weight?

This is the most common question you will ask yourself when you are struggling to lose weight. Many ways you've already tried. However, it still gave the same result. This is when you need supplementation to lose weight. This post will give you an idea of how you can choose your supplementation to lose weight fast yet effective also safe. 

  1. CLA/HLA
    CLA stands for Conjugated Linoleic Acid while HLA stands for High Linoleic Acid. Both come from Safflower oil. These ingredients are really helpful for breakdown the stubborn fat (eg: belly fat). How these ingredients work is by increasing the adiponectin hormones which are used to break down the fatty acid inside our body resulting in losing weight. 

  2. Carnitine/ L-carnitine
    A lot of the previous studies proved that L-carnitine can aid energy metabolism. The dosage can be varied. However, the best dosage which has the most studied is 2000mg per day can aid in the reduction of fat percentage. However, l-carnitine is the long-term supplementation (you need to consume in a few months to see the result).

  3. Fat burner
    The main ingredient of a fat burner is caffeine. Caffein can come in handy when you want to lose weight fast yet so effective. However, before consuming caffeine, you need to consider the side effect of the caffeine such as heart palpitation, over sweating, dizziness, or stomach upset. If you're allergic to caffeine or you are diagnosed with heart disease or high blood pressure, you may want to skip this fat burner. Caffeine can burn your fat and increase metabolism results in weight loss. 

  4. Meal replacement
    If you are one of the people who wanted to lose weight, a calorie is one of your biggest focuses. Meal replacement can be really helpful for you to observe your calorie intake. Meal replacement usually consists of complete nutrients to replace your food however it comes with really low calories and high in protein (to make you feel full). Nevertheless, you still need to take your normal meal from real food. It is advisable for you to replace your meal twice a day (maximum).

Summary:
All of this supplementation you can take together to see the faster result. Safflower oil helps to breakdown your fat to ease the transportation (by l-carnitine) of your fat to be used. However, when your fat already gets to your active muscle you need a very high metabolism to burn your fat this is when the fat burner/ caffeine can come in handy. When you already get a complete supplementation to reduce the existing fat percentage, you need meal replacement to avoid the feature fat.

Whoever knows me will know I am an adventurous girl. So I was taken to Skytrex, Sg. Congkak on my birthday. Basically, this Skytrex been build in the forest so that we can appreciate our nature better. Don't worry about feeling wants to pee and so on because Skytrex offers basic facilities such toilet, locker, and water. Let's deep into the FAQ. 


How I want to get there?

Operation Hour    : Every day from 9am-6pm
Location               : Batu 20, 1/2, Jalan Sungai Congkak, Kampung Padang, 43100 Hulu Langat, Selangor

How is the procedure to get in Skytrex?

  1. You can simply walk-in 30 min before start your slot or online booking on Klook or on the Skytrex website HERE.
  2. Choose your package. They offer 3 package which is the river thrill (easy),  rapid extreme (hard), and double dare (combine).
  3. The price depends on the package. Range (RM55- RM125/ person). You can add on something like a water bottle holder or glove.
  4. The instructor will give a quick briefing before you face the real challenge. And you are compulsory to practice after the briefing to make sure you fully understand the training provided for safety purposes. 
  5.  Throughout the challenge, there will be an instructor who will guide and monitor you until you finish all the challenges.

What are the activities provided?

Depends on the package you take. But these activities definitely will challenge those with acrophobia (afraid of height). Some of the activities offered are flying fox, ladder, bridge, and walking pipe. Seems easy? Try it yourself. 

Things you need to know.

Skytrex offers the same activities during this pandemic with the strict SOP. This is an extreme sports activity, not suitable for those with a special medical condition and small kids. They also have other branches at Melaka and Langkawi. And if you want to have special team activities such as team building and so on you may directly contact their team. The best time to come is in Morning cause the forest is much more cooler.
