Attention to all food lovers, if you are going to have a staycation or vacation or even work-vacay in North Malaysia please stop by this restaurant. I bet you will never regret it. This is my must-stop fav restaurant everrrr! And to Muslims don't worry, all food is Halal.

Haji Midin Murtabak (Kampung Jelutong, Taiping)
This small stall has already been in Taiping since 1981 with their famous Murtabak ever. Their Murtabak is full with big chunks of meat and their onion pickle is also very flavourful. RM7/pcs.

Kuey Teow Kedai Doli (Taiping)
Whoever stays in north Malaysia hasn't tried this restaurant is a big loss. Doli restaurant Char Kuey Teow is da bombb! The Char Kuey Teow or their fried flat rice noodle is famous as it has a unique taste. The smoky taste of the meal and fresh seafood make the Char Kuey Teow taste complete. The price range is RM5.5-17 (Disclaimer: Picture from google)

Deen Maju (Jelutong, Penang)
Nasi Kandar is famous in Penang, but choosing the right restaurant that sells Nasi Kandar in Penang can be a little bit overwhelmed. Now say no more. Deen Maju is the perfect Nasi Kandar restaurant. Deen Maju has plenty of seats besides verryyyy delicious Nasi Kandar (My mouth is watery as I'm typing this). Most important, the price is affordable so don't worry about picking up your favorite dish without burdening your pocket. Total for my meal (with extra rice and including 2 lime drinks) only RM15.

Jagung Bakar (Batu Ferringhi, Penang)
Who doesn't love baked corn? Especially if the corn is rich in flavor and the original sweet that comes from the corn itself. Just imagine yourself in front of the sea enjoying the breeze and wave sound while eating baked corn. OMG. Just give yourself a try. This seller doesn't have a stall, she will walk with a big insulated bag that is full of corn and only cost you RM2.50/each.

Ais Tingkap & Ais Kepal (Georgetown, Penang)
TBH, i'm not a big fan of ais tingkap or ais kepal. However, if I combine these two, somehow it gives a kick in flavor that made me fall in love with the drink. There is a variety of menus that you can choose but my favorite is Air Sarbat from Ais Tingkap (RM4.5) combined with Ais Kepal Vanilla from Ais Kepal (RM5).

Nasi Arab Kepala Batas (Kepala Batas, Penang)
Craving for Arabic food in Malaysia? Say no more. This restaurant has a complete menu of Arabic food. You can choose your favorite dish and the price depends on the dish itself. The price range is about RM8-RM12. (Disclaimer: Picture from google)

Cendol Pak Nik (Sungai Petani, Kedah)
If I only can stop at one restaurant I will choose this restaurant. They got all you need. From appetizer straight to dessert. This shop is famous for its Cendol. They have a variety of Cendol flavors that you can choose from besides other meals. I ordered Laksa, Bihun Sup, Cendol Pulut, Cendol Biasa, Cendol Jagung. That many and only cost me RM16.

Sarapan pagi (Warung depan SK Tikam Batu, Sg. Petani, Kedah)
If you want to have a sweet simple breakfast just stop by at this restaurant. They sell the most crispy yet soft flatbread/ Roti Canai. I love how delicious all the food is served. Total for my meal (Nasi Lemak 2x, Roti Planta, Roti Canai 2x, Verity of Kuih Muih, and 3 drinks) RM20.

Workouts are fun. Feeling yourself and having the best health condition is wonderful. However, doing the same thing every day can be a little bit boring. You may want to look for something interesting. So you want something to keep you motivated? This entry will give you all the workout gear you may need to keep you on track.

SPORTS SHOES
For shoes, I love to have 2 pairs. One for my indoor gym and another one for my outdoor running. Good sports shoes are those which come with shock absorbers. Click HERE to buy.

YOGA MAT
The best yoga mat I've tried are those in rubber material. Foam is an affordable option but I love rubber one better. These are because foam is too soft and split easily compared to rubber material. Extra-large sizes are a bonus though. Click HERE to buy.

SPORTS BRA
This may seem boring, but having a great sports bra gives you maximal support especially when running or jumping. Find the one that gives you comfort while reducing impact (my fav is from Nike). Click HERE to buy.

LEGGING
Wearing loose pants during a workout may increase the risk of injury. This is when legging comes in handy. They do not just reduce the risk of injury but also give you unlimited movement. Any legging will do, find the one that suits you the best and give you comfort. Click HERE to buy.

WINDBREAKER/JACKET
If you find sports bras are too exposing, you can wear a jacket or windbreaker to cover. Those are better compared to t-shirts as they come with zipping and fit your body. Windbreakers are also made for resisting wind which is great for running. Mine is from Diadora (gym jacket) and Sports Direct (windbreaker). Click HERE (gym jacket) and HERE (windbreaker) to buy similar items on Shopee.

DUMBBELL
Bodyweight training can be a little bit boring sometimes. Upgrade your routine with some weight! The best dumbbell is those with adjustable weight (because you need to increase the intensity over time). You can find it on Shopee or any sports shop near you. Click HERE to buy.

GLOVE
IDK about you, but my hand is too sensitive and it can get callus easily if I use some of the gym apparatus. To get rid of it you need to wear a glove besides OFC the moisturizer.  I bought mine from my Skytrex visit. (Also Read: Skytrex) Click HERE to buy similar on Shopee.

RESISTANCE BAND
The purpose is similar to the dumbbell. A resistance band is still under resistance training. But having one is great as you can diversify exercise in your routine. Having different intensities of resistance band for one price is better than one price for one resistance band. Click HERE to buy.

My Opinion:
After so long this product sitting on my wishlist finally I got the opportunity to try it out. And yeah this product is worth the hype! No doubt. The texture is very light and watery as this is a toner. It gently exfoliates my skin and gives it a glow. I find my face absorbs other skincare, especially skin treatment better than before. It not drying at all as other exfoliants. I use it once a day-- depends on your skin toleration. This is a very good product if you want to introduce chemical exfoliants to your skin.

Exfoliating is one of the important steps that need to include in your weekly routine. So what is actually the benefit of exfoliating? Why is it so important? What did it do to your skin? So this entry will answer all of your questions.

Exfoliate is divided into two categories which are physical and chemical exfoliation. Physical exfoliate is using small beads or devices while chemical exfoliates commonly use alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) or beta-hydroxy acid (BHA).

Some of the well-known AHA are glycolic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, and tartaric acid. While the most common BHA is salicylic acid.

AHA is primarily used to remove the upper skin layer while BHA is used to cleanse deep in the pores.

Exfoliate routine totally depends on the individual. Some find once in two weeks is enough while some exfoliate every other day. It totally depends on your skin. However, the recommended dosage is once to twice a week.

The benefit of a chemical exfoliate is:

  • Improve skin texture/acne
BHA is a proven ingredient that can reduce skin texture and acne. Use it once a week and follow up with a moisturiser. Apply SPF if using BHA in the morning.

  • Minimize pores
Enlarge pores usually result from clogged pores or close comedones. To tackle it, use BHA as BHA may melt dirt deep inside your pores. This will reduce the appearance of your pores.

  • Remove dead skin
Exfoliators such as AHA can remove dead skin that is trapped on your skin as our skin is renewed every 27 days.

  • Absorb skincare
Have you ever realised whatever skincare you use can't really seem beneficial for you? It may be caused by the build-up of dead skin cells. Use gentle AHA toner before your other skincare. However bear in mind, some of the skincare cannot be mixed with AHA.

  • Brightening or glow effect
Removing the upper layer of the skin or dead skin cells will reveal fresh and new skin cells. Results in even skin tone and glow effect. Both AHA and BHA can be used.

  • Prevent breakout
Clogged pores due to dirt, excess sebum, bacteria, dead skin cells may cause a breakout. Cleanse your pores once a week can prevent them from clogging. BHA is good to cleanse pores.
